推进“留学中国”品牌建设的理论逻辑、核心要义与现实路径

习近平总书记在主持中共中央政治局第五次集体学习时强调,要大力推进“留学中国”品牌建设。伴随经济全球化的演进,品牌的内涵也在不断拓展,“高校品牌”和“教育品牌”等理念应运而生且产生了较大的国际性影响。推进“留学中国”品牌建设,有助于从软实力层面建构国家形象,提升高等教育国际竞争力。建设“留学中国”品牌有助于持续通过功能价值、情感价值和社会价值的提升,使中国成为各国优秀青年向往的理想留学目的地。在大力推进“留学中国”品牌建设中,须做强做优一批高校品牌,加强教师队伍建设并持续完善来华留学教育辅助支持条件,努力将我国建成具有强大影响力的世界重要教育中心。
